10 People in India have been killed since a train collision,A passenger train in India reportedly collided with another train that stops. The incident left 10 people dead and dozens injured passengers.

As a result of this accident allegedly five cars derailed freight cars. This condition makes the flow of traffic in Chennai, Tamil Nadu province disrupted.

"To date, 10 people were killed, while 52 others were wounded," said Babu KM police officer told The Associated Press on Wednesday (14/09/2011).

Meanwhile, according to local government officials, led by rain, rescuers reached the crash site suffering from difficulty in evacuating the victims. But according to S. Nagarajan all the people injured are now taken to a nearby hospital.

Some of the planned departure of the train were reported canceled or delayed as a result of this accident. It remains unclear, rail traffic can return to normal, because evacuation is still ongoing.

Indian Railways Minister Dinesh Trivedi said it was still investigating the accident occurred.
